Understanding Your Semen Analysis: What We Measure
Semen analysis involves assessing both the quantity and quality of sperm and seminal fluid. Here are the key parameters evaluated.
Note: For optimal sperm quality, abstinence from intercourse for 2-5 days prior to the test is recommended to allow the body to replenish sperm reserves and enhance motility. However, too much abstinence may reduce motility, so finding a balance is important.

The number of sperm per milliliter of semen. A healthy sperm count is crucial for increasing the chances of fertilization.
